The purpose of this workbook is to teach children some of the ways that words can be used. It introduces children to nouns, both proper and common. It covers verbs, both action and state of being, both regular and irregular, and goes over some verb tenses, including present, past and future. It shows that depending on usage, the same word can sometimes be a noun and sometimes a verb. It also shows how words can be pronouns, adjectives and adverbs. The workbook teaches some basic prefixes and suffixes as well.
