Music and Rhythm

Description

Interest Level: Ages 8-11

In this course the music student is introduced to the orchestra. He learns about the four families of the orchestra and the instruments that are in each family. The student gets to build his own string instrument, a box harp made out of a cardboard box. Also included in the course are the fundamentals of music note reading, so by the end of the course the student can write music for his box harp, and then play it.
